Merry Birthday! Happy Christmas! :D

Tomorrow is my birthday. It’s always been a problem for me. You can’t have birthday parties when you’re a Christmas baby. And I never liked that my friends got gifts on my birthday! Well, things are changing. I’m actually looking forward to turning 40! But, there is a lot to achieve within the next three years. I’ve devised a list titled WHAT TO GO BY THE TIME I’M 40! This list includes Bungee jumping, white water rafting, sky diving, and competing in a slam poetry contest. It’s going to be an interesting 3 years.

Happy Holidays

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve updated. I have finished the two reviews that were due and I sent them off to Geeks of Doom. I’ll post when they go up. I’m leading the Hippie group on deviantART. It’s going well, but the members are somewhat disappointing. They don’t submit or participate like they indicate they want to. Don’t really know how to get them going. I have an idea, but I don’t know if it will work.

Xmas is coming and when it’s done I’ll be 37 yrs. I’m actually okay with that. I had a really hard time turning 30, but I’m not worried about 40…go figure.

As for future creative endeavors. In January I plan on entering the Center’s [formerly the Santa Fe Center for Photography] The Singular Image competition. I’m also going to enter my chapbook “Urban Tumbleweed” in the Grayson Books chapbook competition. So we’ll see how that goes. I have big plans for the next year involving workshops, both writing and photography. It’s going to be an exciting year.
